Carlo Petrini, journalist and founder of Slow Food, once described them as an “urban brass band.” A fitting definition for a group that takes the city as its ideal backdrop, and the street not only as a stage but also as a source of inspiration.

Brass and percussion, then — a powerful marching band able to tackle any musical language with an explosive energy.

Born in Turin, Bandakadabra has an intense live performance schedule that has taken them all over Europe, gaining increasing attention from fans and industry professionals alike.

From the Paleo Festival to Suoni delle Dolomiti, Jazz sous les Pommiers, Premio Tenco, Festival della Mente, and Musicultura, the band has racked up over 400 performances in just a few years. Whether in theatres, music festivals, street events, or private parties, they’ve established themselves as a truly unique act.

They’ve also shared the stage with major artists such as Vinicio Capossela, Arturo Brachetti, Malika Ayane, Willie Peyote, and Samuel, singer-songwriter and frontman of Subsonica.
