Rumba is a circus company founded in 2019 by Juan Cruz Ranieri and Luciana Denino. Both graduated with degrees in Circus Performances from the National University of San Martín (UNSAM) in Argentina.
They decided to combine their individual artistic experiences to create a unique and original circus project—a fusion of multiple artistic languages including: acrobatics, tumbling, juggling, hand-to-hand, dance, theatre, and object manipulation.

In 2021, they began working on their debut piece: “Nostalgia”—a show that plays with the visual, the magical, and the captivating.

Nostalgia is a show that, through humor, acrobatics, and object manipulation, connects us to the longing and emotional pull of the past.

Two characters transform before our eyes, delivering remarkable solo acts to tell their stories: a melodramatic actress and a cowboy from the Wild West, who then come together for elegant, fluid hand-to-hand acrobatics.

These curious creatures exist somewhere between the real and the surreal.
A performance filled with wonder, magic, and charm — a show for the whole family.
