Jessica Da Rodda is a clown with a passion for hula hoop. Graduated from the Philip Radice Physical Theatre Atelier in Turin, she continues to train with various clown teachers, nurturing this passion which she blends with hula hoop technique and object manipulation.

Katrina is the protagonist of the show, an absurd and timeless clownish character. A stern and precise-looking lady faces countless difficulties with the objects around her that slip out of her control. The hula hoop technique and balancing on the rola bola become metaphorical tools to tell the story of a woman caught between the obsession with perfection and the freedom to let go and embrace the unexpected. Amidst wild objects and intertwining hoops unfolds a poetic show that doesn’t forgo the audience engagement typical of street art.
