Terra Livre is a musical project born in 2010. The band gives voice to the emerging ecological movement — a natural and spontaneous wave without leaders or borders, manifesting both locally and globally.

Their sound blends simplicity with psychedelia, mixed heritage with mysticism, ecology with activism, singing of awareness and diversity in a single, unifying tone.

The music is rooted in offbeat rhythms: Reggae, Ska, Rocksteady, and especially deep and powerful Dub. Clean, mature, and powerful sounds emerge from seemingly simple melodies, with complex arrangements that reveal the mark of a great band — intricate to the trained ear, yet irresistibly danceable.

An incredibly authentic reggae voice ties seamlessly into the band's sound.

What else is there to say? First, you have to listen — and then… dance, dance, dance!

 This is their latest release. On this album, the Portuguese band collaborates with music legends like Manu Chao, Dub FX, Silvério Pessoa, and more.
This eclectic journey starts in reggae/dub and carries the whole world with it — a sonic voyage in search of what might be called “Earth Music.”
