Victor is perhaps the greatest South American clown—if not one of the greatest, full stop. Victor is a true-blooded Argentine, an international artist renowned for his balloon artistry and eccentric comedy. He has toured over 25 countries, charming audiences with his wordless humor and powerful presence. He has dedicated his life to comedy and performance, bringing joy and laughter wherever he goes. A clown, a fool—at times cruel, at times naïve—a world-class performer in a category of his own.

The show of Clown Tomate, the alter ego of Argentine clown Victor Ávalos, is a masterpiece of humanity. There are no grand devices, no loud music, no special effects. There is a being who stumbles, who doubts, who desires, who fails... and who persists. Far from the clichés of childish humor, Tomate's work moves between play, physical theater, and philosophy. It's a show to laugh at, certainly, but also to acknowledge one's own vulnerability. Victor Ávalos masters the clown's language with a mastery that requires no words: his body speaks, listens, and breathes along with the audience.
